Logitech, AURORA - Performance Art Touchpad

A six week college project in collaboration with Logitech. 

Students and graduates engaged in a 6 week project exploring the use of decorative glass in living room products, with the touch pad as a starting point. The project was initiated with a view to exploring the aesthetic potential of glass. 

Participating artists included: Luke Sisk, Mara Muller Tolk, Diane Peters and Kira O’Brien


Project Objective:

  • Design an iconic, beautiful glass touchpad for Logitech
  • Understand glass and create a product with emotional, tactile and visual appeal
  • Turn a piece of consumer electronics into a piece of art wih mass appeal
  • Explore different concepts and themes
  • Understand the material and its inherent beauty, appeal and essence
  • Create the next generation of 3D touchpads
