IDI Graduate Design Awards
Visual Communications graduates were awarded with the prestigious design awards from the Institute of Designers of Ireland (IDI), at their Annual Prize Giving held in the NCAD Gallery in Dublin.
2018: Alannah Calvert and Monika Szynkiewicz (BA (Hons) in Visual Communications Graduates) were shortlisted. Brand Identity Le Chéile – Alannah Calvert. Use of Illustration in Design Galzine – Alannah Calvert. Use of Illustration in Design Mocking Obstacles – Monika Szynkiewicz
2017: Elena Balakina (BA (Hons) in Visual Communications Graduate) was shortlisted in the Brand Identity category with her project Scrambled and Des Wade (BA (Hons) in Visual Communications Graduate) was awarded for being shortlisted in the Packaging category for his project ‘Index’.
2016: Grace Murray (BA (Hons) in Visual Communications Graduates) came away with the category win in Illustration. Project titled ‘Alice in Wonderland’. Mark O’Sullivan (BA (Hons) in Visual Communications Graduate) was highly commended in the same category, Illustration. Project titled ‘Cumhacht Playing Cards’.
