MA in Arts and Engagement

Duration: Part time over two years (1 day a week + 2-day block monthly for elective module)

What is the course about?

This Masters prepares graduates to develop a professional practice in arts rich engagement with individual, group, and broader societal contexts. Participants on this Masters programme will develop an understanding of the role of the arts within learning, changemaking and the development of culture.  Watch this informative YouTube video for more detail.

 

What will you be doing?

The applied nature of the course enriches the graduate with practical tools and skills while adapting methodologies to diverse settings. Through research, reflection, group and practical work, participants will explore different ways of learning, investigating the transformational power of the arts in personal and societal regulation through a broad scope of contemporary methodologies. Through the study and application of research methods in the Arts, the graduate will have the ability to conduct informed independent research and will gain skills for the analysis and presentation of data appropriate for their field of work.
