We each have a vision for our future. A vision that is always adapting, growing and morphing much like us and our skills. Each of our visions is a unique lens through which we see the world that inspires us and that we use to inspire others
My name is Adam Gunn and I am a 4th year Creative Digital Media student. My passions include Filmmaking, Graphic Design and Digital Art. I have primarily had a passion for Video Editing for the past 10 years.
My project is called “Bully Me?”. It is an interactive animated anti-bullying video to help children aged 5 to 7 learn how to deal with bullying. There are 3 videos in total with the final of the three teaching how bullying can impact people in the future. It includes an interactive poster also where the user must click three parts of the body to begin the videos.

I am interested in capturing attention and sparking interest through vision, whether that be through film or advertising.
For me if you can make something memorable, spark interest or positively impact someone’s life that’s successful content.
Tukool is the name of my Final Year Project. I worked with Thomas McCarthy to develop an educational game designed to help children with dyslexia. The integration of technology into the mainstream classroom facilitates new teaching methods and greater inclusivity. It is important to remind the many children who are diagnosed with learning differences that they are good enough, and they learn, just in their own way.

Hi! My name is Jack and I am now a graduate of Creative Digital Media here in CIT. My love of film and photography drew me to this course initially, and I had many opportunities throughout my studies to experiment in these fields with a variety of mediums both in Cork and on Erasmus.
I conducted my FYP with Darragh Woods where we developed DIME, a mobile jukebox app that focuses on modernising the jukebox experience and re-establishing it within bars as the social icon it once was. DIME aims to reintroduce the lost values jukeboxes once provided to bar patrons and socialise the act of modern music listening.

Music has always been one of my biggest interests. It felt right to incorporate that passion into my Final Year Project. Luxana provides an interactive experience that enables the user to witness a marriage of colour and sound to emulate a strain of a rare condition, synaesthesia. Since humans cannot develop or acquire synaesthesia throughout their life, they are just born with it, this project aims to showcase the unique effects of the condition to those without synaesthesia.

Hi, my name is David Power! During my time in the course I jumped on every chance I got to do modules based on video and editing. Exploring traditional and unconventional storytelling mediums was always my passion.
This culminated in my final year project when I designed "What Happened to Alison Barnett?" an educational alternate reality game installation that teaches storytelling and narrative concepts as they play out in the game. Playing with structure and editing videos to tell unique stories is what I hope to continue doing after I graduate.

FreeTime is a prototype for a planning app. It is meant to be used by accessing the site for it on your smartphone. Anybody using it can input a list of tasks to do, and a time to do all of them. Hey! I'm Leon, and throughout my years in the CDM course, I've been able to really develop and expand on some of my creative passions.
My main passions include music and audio, photography, and sketching. Wherever possible, I've tried to use my sound and audio knowledge to enhance projects, whether making a short film and recording the foley myself, or redesigning the audio for an existing clip. My photography skills have been developed further during the past four years, allowing me to not only capture better quality images, but also make further enhancements through software (where necessary) to bring out the best aspects of the image beyond the lens.
The skills gathered during the course have allowed me to work on many enjoyable projects outside of college, including Live-streams of events, making short films, and acting as photographer at minor events.
I also have a keen interest in guitars, cinematography, science, and Arduino programming. I have been able to mix both old and new interests while in the course, using knowledge learned in college in completing tasks outside of the classroom. While I'm not 100% certain of the path I want to take just yet, I have a definite interest in progressing to a MA in Music Technology, in the Cork School of Music.
My FYP (which is still under development) is a boxing training aid. It consists of a boxing bag rigged with sensors which feed back to Arduino units and relay the information by means of an on-screen animation.

Hello there, my name is Zachary but I prefer Zac. I have a love for all things visual, my passion comes from my love of movies, magazines & music. The need to tell a story through design. I love all forms but have a soft spot for minimalism.
My Final Year Project is a look at the lockdown we have experienced these last few months. Keeping in mind the three things I feel need to be focused on during trying times, The Mind, The Body & The Soul. I was excited by this project as it challenged me to find creative solutions to the lockdown. It became a very personal project tackling the subject of isolation.
