AREAS OF EXPERTISE: Design communications/Graphic Design/Illustration

 

Maureen runs her own graphic design studio in Blackrock. Her expertise in brand identity has allowed her company to become one of Ireland’s leading fmcg brand specialists. She originally studied Fine Art (painting) in Crawford College of Art and design and furthered her studies in UCC (media studies) and Visual Design in Croydon College of Art and Design.  Since returning from London during the 90’s, after working with leading Design Consultancies (Wolf Olins, Design Bridge, Pentagram) Maureen has been lecturing part-time in the Visual Communications dept in MTU for over 20 years.  Her previous teaching experience also included Lecturing in Design in UCC post-grad multi-media course. 

Maureen is also a well know portrait and landscape artist with much of her work is in many private collections abroad.

Cork City Artists exhibition – Crawford Gallery, Spillars Land Gallery, Tigh Fili, Sirius Arts Centre 

Grainstore, Ballymaloe, Private Commissions 

 

The Great Island of Ireland Art Project 

Artist in residence – 2022 

Maureen will lead The Great Island of Ireland Art project that will create the largest private collection of art on the Island of Ireland with a focus on capturing memories and moments of Irish villages and towns throughout the country.
