On behalf of The Glass Society of Ireland, I would like to cordially invite you to the opening of ‘Connecting’, an exhibition of Irish glass at the National Botanic Gardens, Dublin.

Launch event on the 27th of October, 2025 at 1pm. We are delighted that the exhibition will be officially opened by Cllr. Donna Cooney, Green Party Spokesperson for Arts and Culture

On the day we will also have guest speaker Dr. David Caron to talk about the launch of his new book ‘Twentieth Century Stained Glass in Dublin’. Following this, a guided tour of the exhibition using Visual Thinking Strategies by artist and curator, Claire Halpin will shed new light on the works displayed.

We hope that you can attend the event as it promises to be a wonderful opportunity to engage with the exhibition and meet some of the artists. If you can’t make it you are warmly encouraged to visit the exhibition during its run in Dublin where it will be in the Botanic Gardens until the 1st November, entry is free.
