Hi, I’m Maria.

About halfway through this course I realised how much I love storytelling through animation. Since Visual Communications is mainly a design course, I decided to do a lot of animation research outside of college hours. I then squeezed animation into as many design projects as possible.

This year I lost my dad, and this final year project became my way of coming to terms with that. My short film aims to acknowledge the heartache of a slow goodbye in a way that is approachable and digestible. I hope you like it.
